1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the website www.1halal.com.ph (the “Site”) and its services, including but not limited to browsing listings, submitting a business listing, and posting user reviews (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not use the Site or the Services.

2. Definitions

• “Site,” “We,” “Us,” “Our”: Refers to 1halal.com and its owner/operator.
• “User,” “You”: Refers to any person or entity accessing or using the Site, including General Users and Business Users.
• “General User”: A User who browses the Site, searches listings, or posts reviews.
• “Business User”: A User who has created an account to submit, edit, or manage a business listing.
• “Listing Content”: All text, images, logos, contact information, operating hours, and other data provided by a Business User for their listing.
• “User Content”: All content submitted by any User, including but not limited to reviews, comments, feedback, and profile information.
• “Halal Standard”: Refers to the Islamic dietary laws and guidelines for food and conduct, as generally accepted within the Muslim community.

3. The 1halal Service

1halal is an online business directory that provides a platform for informational purposes only, connecting Users with businesses that claim to offer Halal products and services.

Our Role is Limited:

• We facilitate the connection between Users and Business Users.
• We do not certify, audit, endorse, or guarantee the Halal compliance, quality, safety, or legality of any products, services, or claims made by any Business User or listed entity.
• All transactions, engagements, and interactions between Users and Business Users are solely between those parties. We are not responsible or liable for any disputes, damages, or outcomes arising from such interactions.

4. User Obligations and Conduct

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the Site by any third party.

4.1. Representations by Business Users

By submitting a listing, the Business User warrants and represents that:

• All Listing Content is accurate, truthful, current, and complete.
• The business genuinely operates in accordance with the Halal Standard as claimed in the listing.
• You have all necessary permissions, licenses, and authority to list the business and submit the Listing Content.

4.2. Prohibited User Content and Activities

You agree not to post any User Content or engage in any activity that is:

• False, misleading, or fraudulent.
• Defamatory, obscene, profane, or sexually explicit.
• Hateful, racially or ethnically objectionable, or promoting discrimination or violence.
• Violating any Halal Standard or Islamic ethical principle (e.g., promoting forbidden products).
• Infringing on the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of any third party.
• Spam, unauthorized advertising, or “trolling.”
• Containing software viruses or any other computer code, files, or programs designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of the Site.

We reserve the right to remove any Listing Content or User Content that, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate for the 1halal platform, without prior notice.

5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

5.1. Content and Halal Standard Disclaimer

THE SITE AND ALL SERVICES, INCLUDING LISTING CONTENT AND USER CONTENT, ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.

• We make no warranty that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• We expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THE HALAL STANDARD.
• It is the sole responsibility of the User to verify the Halal certification, compliance, and quality of any business or service found on the Site before making a purchase or engaging their service.

5.2. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall 1halal, its affiliates, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

1. Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Site or Services.
2. Any conduct or content of any third party on the Site, including without limitation, any Business User or User Content.
3. Any misrepresentation or failure of a Business User to meet the Halal Standard or any other claim or expectation.

6. Intellectual Property

• Site Content: All content, features, and functionality of the Site (including but not limited to all text, graphics, logos, and code) are the exclusive property of 1halal and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
• Listing and User Content: By submitting Listing Content or User Content, you grant 1halal a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in any media.

7. Account Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms, particularly those related to Prohibited Content, fraudulent activity, or misrepresentation of Halal status.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert Governing Law Jurisdiction, e.g., the State of California, USA], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
